My 25 years of corporate experience is based in senior management, operations, sales, marketing, and strategic planning.  As a consultant, I evaluated the viability of retaining a US Tobacco subsidiary, analyzed acquisition opportunities for Seymour Industries, modified strategies offsetting the recession for Acorn Structures, and developed an exit strategy for General Marine in Biddeford, Maine.

In non-profits, I was a Director for national education and training programs, created workforce development models across the USA, and specialized in reviving troubled programs. I was a Director for the Nat’l Assoc of Home Builders, consulted for the US Department of Labor, the Employment and Training Administration, the Living Classrooms Foundation in Baltimore, MD, and the Nat’l Association for Construction Education and Research in Alachua, Florida. I ran the Governor’s Workforce Board in Rhode Island, overseeing the economic development interests of high growth industry sectors, and facilitated the development and implementation of their 5-year strategic plan. In NH, I created replicable models mitigating the substance abuse crises, designed an expansion plan for the Landing School in Biddeford, Maine, leveraged workforce development as a cross organizational resource for Easter Seals in Manchester, NH, and assisted Class Inc with the implementation of their strategic plan.

I served on the Board for Seacoast Family Promise, the NH Governor’s Commission on Disability, and the Hospital Association of RI. I initiated my higher education at the University of VT., was a 2 sport D-1 athlete, and completed my education at the Rhode Island School of Design where I was accepted into the Master’s Furniture Program as a President’s Fellow. I coached hockey at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis and was raised in a family that manufactured marine hardware and freight car equipment.
